Purpose: The Hartford Court of Common Council is amending the Mayor's proposed municipal budget for the 2010/2011 fiscal year,
which may produce deep cuts to vital public services our Union members
provide and residents and business count on.
Agenda: Council members will not be taking public comments on issues on the meeting agenda, so come to talk with elected officials directly from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM; meeting begins at 7:00 PM.
Action: The Council is expected to approve their proposed budget for the next fiscal year; members of Council 760's Chapter 848 working for the City of Hartford are encouraged to attend and speak to Council members about the need to preserve vital public services. Members may contact Union Political Director Danny Medress for assistance with "talking points."
