A History of Stepping Up for Manchester's Quality of Life
Despite being in better fiscal shape than many medium-sized towns in Connecticut, Manchester's General Manager proposed a budget for the next fiscal year that includes significant cuts to public services. The plan also assumed further labor concessions, and leaders of our Union's Chapters representing municipal workers responded with a joint letter reminding local officials of the significant givebacks they agreed to less than a year ago that continue to provide cost savings for current and future budgets.
