Purpose: Meeting of Paraprofessional Council Chapter I58 members working as paras in Tolland Public Schools.
Agenda: Local Union President Cathy Osten to attend and discuss current Municipal Division "fight-back" campaigns; additional topics include:
- Review of proposals for contract negotiations with the Board of Ed for the current agreement which expires June 30;
- Restructured union dues for Municipal Division members;
- Campaign to pass a fair state budget that increases municipal aid and ECS funding;
- Efforts to increase support for Union's Political Action Committee (PAC); and
- Federal and state legislative priorities impacting municipal and schools public service workers.
