Para Council Leaders
Officers, Delegates, and Other Leadership Positions
Paraprofessional Council Members Elected in May 2010 to Provide Guidance and Direction for the Next Two Years
We know that positive, effective Union leadership can impact the ability of all our members to provide a quality educational experience for the schoolchildren we serve. We believe it is critical that paraprofessionals and all non-certified education support staff take a lead role in standing up for the resources needed to deliver robust services for pre-K through 12th grade students in all Connecticut's local communities.
We elect member leaders to carry out our Council's agenda and provide the support needed to accomplish the collective goals of our 34 individual chapters. Council officers also represent us on the CSEA/SEIU Local 2001 Executive Council, assuring our priority issues are included in our Union's larger-scale efforts to make Connecticut a great place for all of us to live, work, and raise our families.
