Joint Thomaston Chapter (Town and WPCA) Membership Meeting

Combined Chapters Meeting


Purpose: Members of both Council 760's Chapter I53, which represents Town of Thomaston municipal employees, and Chapter I54, which represents Thomaston's Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) workers, are urged to attend.

Agenda: Local Union President Cathy Osten to attend and discuss current Municipal Division "fight-back" campaigns; additional topics include:
  • restructured union dues for Municipal Division members;
  • campaign to pass a fair state budget that increases municipal aid;
  • efforts to increase support for Union's Political Action Committee (PAC); and
  • federal and state legislative priorities impacting municipal and schools public service workers.

NOTE: Lunch will be served
