Purpose: Members of Council 760's Chapter I32, which represents the Middlebury police department's officers have been speaking out about faulty radios and the public safety risks they raise for nearly four years.

Action:
Townwide referendum to provide financing for the communications upgrade to the Middlebury Police Department recommended by the Police Commission and passed by the Finance Board.

NOTE: Absentee voting is open at Town Hall weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Town residents should take the time to vote "YES" for the bonding to provide the public safety communications upgrade BEFORE the referendum date to be sure their voice is heard.
