Prizes Awarded for Recruiting New Council 400 Members

We are growing Council 400. A combination of targeted mailings, door-to-door canvassing, and establishing new out-state chapters has yielded tremendous results; we have organized over 1,100 new retiree members into since September of 2006!

You can be part of our efforts to coordinate our organizing drive. Recruiting for the largest, most accomplished retiree union in the state is easy; make calls from our Local hall in Hartford, your home, or with a group of friends from your Chapter. Join fellow members in visiting potential members at their homes.

Committee members will provide training, lists, and access to phone banks to fellow Council 400 members. Three prizes are available for signing-up the most new members this year:

Grand Prize – $1,000.00: Most new members signed-up in a year;
First Prize – $500.00: Second most new members signed-up in a year; and

Second Prize – $200.00: Third most new members signed-up in a year.

PLUS three levels of prizes will be awarded to individuals or Chapters:

 Level 3 – $125.00 cash: 25 new members signed-up;
 Level 2 – $50.00 cash: 10 new members signed-up; and
 Level 1 – $25.00 cash: 5 new members signed-up.
