Council Stewards and Leaders Gathered at Our Union Hall for a Training Session on Contract Enforcement in 2008

We are over 600 criminal justice professionals working in the public service across the state of Connecticut. Our members include correctional lieutenants, correctional training officers, counselor supervisors, and captains in the State's Department of Correction (DOC).

We are committed to providing the citizens of Connecticut the highest standard of public safety. Our members share common values based on our commitment to public service. We believe that we have an opportunity to make a positive impact on those who are protected, housed, and rehabilitated in the DOC, and that our efforts are of critical importance to making Connecticut a safe place for us all to live and raise our families.

Our meetings are now held bi-monthly, alternating the first Tuesday of the month at 10:00 AM and again at 7:00 PM at our CSEA/SEIU Local 2001 Hall in Hartford.
