Our CSPCOA Council
DPS State Police Captains and Lieutenants

From day one, forming our union was about creating the opportunity to negotiate with the State of Connecticut so we could make improvements for ourselves and the public we serve.

President, CSPCOA Council
In July of 2006, captains and lieutenants in the Connecticut Department of Public Safety's State Police Division made history by voting unanimously to unite in our union. After thirty years of being denied a voice on the job, while most workers in all state agencies were able to work collectively for improvements to public services, it was time to join together for collective strength!
Our Council meets at our CSEA/SEIU Local 2001 Hall in Hartford when our Board has news to share with the general membership. Check the "Upcoming CSPCOA Events" section for meeting announcements.
