We believe that leaders are essential. The key to a more powerful labor movement is developing collectives of more powerful people. People make change possible when they “dig deep,” take risks, and develop as leaders.
We elect member leaders to carry out our Council’s agenda and provide the oversight needed to enforce our contract. Our Council officers also represent us on the CSEA/SEIU Local 2001 Executive Council, assuring our priority issues are included in our union’s larger-scale efforts.
