Chapter 24 is one of 19 chapters that comprise our Union's P-4 Council. The bargaining unit represents approximately 2,500 engineering, scientific, and technical employees of the State of Connecticut -- nearly 600 are members of Chapter 24.

The majority of Chapter 24 members work at the Departments of Environmental Protection, Agriculture, Health and Military. Most work in various functions to protect the natural resources of the state.

Our Chapter leaders are our co-workers that we elect to serve bi-annual terms as officers at the May Chapter meeting in even-numbered years. Our Union Stewards are our worksite representatives on job-related matters, and are appointed by our P-4 Council President and approved by Council delegates.

Our chapter meets every second Thursday of the month at 12:05 pm on the 3rd Floor (Russell Room) of the Department of Environmental Protection, located at 79 Elm Street in Hartford. Check the "Events Calendar" page for each meeting for additional details.
