Procession Begins at Jillson Square, Main St & Jackson St, Willimantic, CT

Community Allies Event

Purpose: Join members of Council 760's Chapter I67, which represents food service workers for the Windham Board of Education, and be part of our contingent in WILI’s 4th of July "Boom Box" parade.

Parade: Anyone can march in “Connecticut’s Unique People’s Parade” -- no pre-registration is necessary. Members are gathering at Jillson Square on Main Street at 10:00 AM

Action: Help gather petition signatures from area residents opposing the Windham Board of Ed's proposal to contract-out the services our members deliver to a low-bid vendor, putting their jobs at risk.
