Our P-4 Council

State Engineering, Scientific, & Technical Workers

Nate JenkinsThe key to a strong Council is that we have to be member-driven, from top to bottom. That is why we need to increase involvement, from simply attending meetings, to signing up to take on leadership roles, to everything in between!

Our P-4 Council represents a wide variety of engineers, scientific experts, and technical professionals working for the State of Connecticut. Our Council’s Chapters are organized by State agency or worksite to unite co-workers together for strength in the workplace. For some of the larger agencies, we have organized membership into multiple chapters by related job classification.

Each of our Chapters is represented at our Council by electing delegates who vote to take action on our priority issues. Elected member officers provide each Chapter leadership and schedule regular meetings to plan and execute strategies for addressing local workplace issues and concerns.

Our Council delegates meet the first Thursday of the month at 7:00 P.M. at our CSEA/SEIU Local 2001 Hall in Hartford. Join us to learn how we are working to build power for state workers!
