P-4 Council Members in the State Dept. of Construction Services Reviewed Our Tentative Agreement to Protect Jobs and Preserve Benefits in July

CSEA has been fighting for a voice on the job for professional Connecticut State Employees since 1941. Our Union has an unmatched and unrivaled record of achievement for P-4 Council members at the bargaining table, at the State Capitol, at the labor board, and in our workplaces.

At the same time, engineering, scientific and technical employees are concerned about their future. And because CSEA is a transparent, democratic organization they have the opportunity and responsibility to create a vision for a better union going forward.

But a small New York outfit that has no experience with Connecticut State Employees is exploiting union members' legitimate concerns and threatening to take away their representation. They are even putting the new bargaining unit contract ratified by a 2-to-1 majority of P-4 Council members that provides for four years of job security at risk.

To protect and expand the benefits for which we have all worked so hard, the choice is clear: CSEA. Join our P-4 Council's "Committee for a Secure Future" and be part of building an even stronger union, protecting our contract, and keeping our many gains.
